Saturday drawings

Hi everyone I hope your having a happy Saturday!:)

Anyway here are the drawings:

This drawing was of a character I made up.
I see her as a princess or queen that can talk to dragons...
So she would most likely be helpful to one of my heroes in future books!:)

The Master of Disguise, this

Rapunzel, I enjoyed drawing her
(and she might just end up being in a fairy-tale retelling)

an unfinished drawing of a fox..
I was trying to draw a fox realistically,
but it ended up looking more like a wolf then a fox.

I enjoyed drawing this one. It is of one of my favorite Violin players,
Lindsey Stirling.

Hope you liked the drawings,
Which drawing is your favorite?

P.S I'm working on a short story
which I'll post as soon as I finish writing it.

P.P.S  This character will be in the story.

Happy father's day (special post for my dad)

Hi everyone, Happy Sunday...and it turns out today is Father's Day. I actually worked on several draft posts before deciding on what to write. Originally today I was going to do a review of a movie I had recently seen, but I decided since it was Father's Day I should write a post about how my dad helped inspire my writing.

The neat thing was my dad and I talked about story ideas in coffee shops, we talked about how the magic in a certain world in my stories worked, and how I plotted out my mystery novels...and who did it. and sometimes he would even inspire story ideas for my novels and short stories...

He also was the one who helped me find Blogger, helped me start a blog, and taught me how to use HTML and style sheets.

Thank you, Dad for inspiring me!

How is your Father's Day going? And has your dad ever helped you with writing or something else?

love,

Quinley

Costume Project: Legolas costume Elven cloak (preview)

Hi everyone,

So in case you're wondering this is a costume themed post, and I will be posting pictures of how I am going to make the costume, I considered posting this on my doll blog  since it had to do with sewing , but I decided I would post it here (considering I am the one who is going to be wearing the costume).

The cloak that Legolas wears in Lord of The Rings, only really shows up in The Two Towers and Return of The King and at least a little bit of The Fellowship of The Ring. But I decided I would make it because it would be a good thing to start with also considering it would be easy to make (compared to the rest of Legolas's outfit)

Some new drawings

Hi everyone hope you're having a happy tuesday!

Anyway here are some new drawing I drew:

here is a drawing ,
I combined my realistic drawing style with my other style..
I think it turned out well

This was originally mean't for a Star Wars day themed post
unfortunately I never got a chance to post it

This is a drawing of one of my characters, I enjoyed drawing her hair

This drawing was fun to draw
I enjoyed drawing her hair and earrings and armor!:)

This drawing was especially fun to draw, I kind of see this character as                                           possibly being a Percy Jackson character.

Which Drawings your favorite? And do you enjoy creating characters?

How to get out of Blogger's block (tips for Bloggers)

Hi everyone, today I have anther writing post but this time It has to do with blogging...

Post Ideas-

If you have no idea what to post, it's good to take a quick break from your computer (much like what you do in writing) or ask for some ideas and suggestions from friends or family. Keep in mind you're doing blogging for fun and you should not be pressured to do it.

- If you're an artist then you can take pictures or upload your art and make a post that way, you can talk about which art or drawing is your favorite or which one you particularly enjoyed creating.

-If you're a writer you can share a little bit of a story you're writing such as snippets from your novel (especially if you're doing Camp NaNoWrimo or November Novel Writing),  or share a short story you wrote, or even short bios of your characters.

- If you do photography you can post a photo-shoot, you can take pictures with a friend or take pictures of one of your toys (like a doll or stuffed animal)

Getting Ideas-

It doesn't always happen that you get idea right away sometimes it takes days to come up with a idea or longer. Sometimes the Idea sneaks up on you, or something happens that makes you want to make a post...

but here are some things I do that help me get ideas:

1. Draw or doodle , sometimes just doing that helps me think of a idea..

2. Listening to Music, it helps me get into  a blogging mood.

3. writing, writing down ideas or even a short story helps me think...

4. Reading, The Funny thing about this one is when I'm reading sometimes I come with a post idea out of the blue.

-------------------------------

hope this post was helpful for you!:)

Have you ever not known what to post? how did you come up with an idea?

Song Suffragettes

Hi everyone, so I recently went to Song Suffragettes in Nashville, and it was amazing!

as it turns out not as  many woman singers get on country radio anymore, though it seems like they should. Song Suffragettes was made for woman country singers so they can get heard.

While going to Song Suffragettes I got a few pictures with Kalie Shorr:

photos with Kalie
I'm excited to see them again!
