Miscellaneous Drawings #1

So, these are drawings that didn't really fall into a category. They were ones that I didn't make with polls so couldn't include them in my Using Polls to Create Art series, and they weren't for Inktober so I couldn't post them there, so I ended up creating a new series. This is a series for art I don't quite I have a series for, called Miscellaneous Drawings.

Here they are:

I updated my header!
I felt it needed to be changed, since my drawing style has changed a bit.
I also decided to have lights surrounding Arcasia, (it's up to interpretation whether these lights are ghost orbs or fairies).  Also, this follows a story from the last header, which you can look at here. That header showed her fighting a monster of some kind (which isn't visible to the viewers). But in the current header, the danger has passed, and she is exploring the calmer part of the forest where she sees the ghost orbs or fairies.

Anna (left) and Kitty (right) at the ball from Anna Karenina
I am currently reading it, so I drew something based on that scene.

In a previous post, I mentioned that Riona used to be human before she could shape shift back and forth between a phoenix and a human. This is what she looked like when she was a normal human.

She used to have blondish/brownish hair before she turned into a phoenix. When she is able to turn back and forth between human and phoenix she has red hair with blue highlights in it (in order to mimic a flame).

A drawing of Tauriel. I did this artwork for an original song I wrote about Tauriel, which I plan to post in the future.

I drew this for the Bird Whisperer Project  (if you scroll through their Facebook you will be able to see some of my drawings). However, since they moved to twitter and I didn't have a twitter account (I don't really want one actually), and couldn't send in this drawing and it didn't get posted.

So I thought I'd post it here instead.

Here are some eye drawings, I am currently learning how to draw eyes realistically.

I tried to put these realistic eyes into my current drawing style, and this was the end result.
I think I made the eyes a little bit too big, but other than that I actually do like the end result.

My Art from Inktober 2021 (Part Two)

You can read part one here

                                     Greetings Travelers!

Here is the second part of "My Art from Inktober 2021" series. This is my first year doing Inktober, and I had a lot fun drawing these.

Also, as a reminder, if you would like to get a question or questions in for part two of the Q&A for my novel, you can ask them here

Other than that, let's get on to the post! As I said before in the previous post, this series will be divided up into segments of ten drawings per post, with eleven being the final one.

Here's the prompt list for this year's Inktober:

And here are more of my drawings from Inktober:

Day #11 Sour, I decided to draw a Sour Patch Kid candy along with several other candies (some you would probably get from Trick or Treating and others probably not).

Unlike the other drawings this one did not have a pencil sketch drawn under it, this was entirely done in makers.

Day #12 Stuck, I decided to draw Rapunzel stuck in her tower. I had several other ideas of what to draw for this prompt, but in the end I decided to draw Rapunzel.

Day #13 Roof, I drew a house in a silhouette, I decided to make the house look eerie.

Day #14 Tick, I decided to draw a list with tick marks, and I went the fantastical route making it a Fairy Tale knight's to-do list.

Day #15 Helmet, Here I drew the Greek god, Hermes. He has a very cool looking helmet and I thought that would be perfect for the prompt.

Day #16 Compass, I decided to draw something "piratey."

Day #17 Collide, I had an idea for a crossover of sorts between the characters Elm (left) and Oceana (right). (these characters are in the same world, just different stories unlike the crossover I drew in Using Polls to Create Art.) Oceana used to be a Naiad and knew Elm, they would practice singing together. Elm and Oceana would try and figure out where the magic of Elm's singing voice came from (since Elm doesn't know...yet), so they were friends, and then Oceana got cursed by the goddess Demeter and got turned into a siren.

Though it is very hard for them to meet each other again, with Oceana sinking ships and all, I thought it would be cool if their worlds collided reuniting the two of them.

Day #18 Moon, Here's a drawing of the Greek goddess Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and moon. I thought the prompt "Moon" was fitting for her. Also the character designs for Artemis and Hermes, are from my animation project Pandora's Box

Day #19 Loop, I decided to do a yoga pose that reminded me of a "loop." Also the whole setting is based on a memory I had of doing yoga during winter in a warm yoga studio, where it was warm and cozy inside, and really cold outside. This felt really nice to me, so the drawing was based on that.

I also kept the color palette limited, and used mostly blues, grays, and browns. With a little bit of purple and gold, but not as much.

Day #20 Sprout, For this I was inspired by "Jack and the Beanstalk".

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Which drawing is your favorite? And what is your favorite yoga pose and/or Greek god/goddess?

August Drawings (It's Been Awhile Since I Made a Drawing Post)

Hello everyone, I realize it's been awhile since I've made a drawing post. So I thought today was the perfect day to make one. So, let's begin.

Here are the drawings:

A drawing of Florence from Death in Paradise.
I hope in the near future to draw more drawings of the characters from that TV show.

I like the way this drawing of Rapunzel turned out, I tried to make her outfit look a little like it looks in the TV show.

A drawing of Merida. I like the way it turned out.

Annabelle's hair in this drawing is a little bit more curly than I normally draw it.

A drawing of a mermaid,
this is the first time
I've drawn a mermaid with scales on her face and skin.

This is a drawing of a character I made (that I hope to use soon), who can shape shift into a unicorn. When she is human she tends to have rainbow hair (like her mane when she is a unicorn) and a horn, though it can be rather awkward when she is close to people and accidentally bumps them with the horn.

                                        Which drawing is your favorite?

P.S. I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the amazing comments (on both my blogs) I will respond to all of them soon.
