The Heist of Dorion Gray is a series that I am working on set in an alternate universe, where instead of dying at the end of the novel, Dorian goes into hiding. The series is set in modern day Chicago, and Dorian wants to get his painting back from the Art Institute. He enlists the help of a team of criminals to help him get the painting.

Dorian Gray is an immortal man from the Victorian era, who made the wish to stay young forever. He is charming but incredibly manipulative, and he knows how to use his charms get what he most desires.

Reed Hayward
A "wizard" from England with false and distorted memories. (He prefers the term "magical artist" or "painter with magic".) He has a connection with Dorian, one that he's unsure of, but he feels drawn to Dorian. And he has ulterior motives for "helping" Dorian.
