Ivy Hughes

 

Ivy is an art forger (and art restorer) who specializes in impressionist painting (and sometimes other styles). She has a mysterious past, which she has managed to keep hidden, and which Dorian managed to uncover in order to get her to work for him. 

Name: Ivy Hughes 

Age: Somewhere in her twenties. 

Occupation: Artist/Artist Restorer/Art forger, and sometimes a con-artist. 

Skills: She is a skilled artist and knows how to restore paintings. She is good at replicating certain artists' art styles. (Impressionists usually, though she does have some knowledge in regards to others). 

Artistic inspirations: Basil Hallward, Monet, and Van Gogh-- she has an art style inspired by them, that she uses outside of art forgery in her personal illustrations. 

Favorite book: 

She has a copy of The Secrets of Basil Hallward which details the (forgotten) history of the painter. She also enjoys the book Linnea in Monet's Garden (which she read as a child). 

Friends: Ava, Reed, Dorian, and Alfred. Given that she and Dorian share the role of "leader" of the team, she has good relationships with most people in it, though she has the strongest bond with Reed. 

Enemies: Vanessa. 

Weaknesses: Depending on what she is painting or making a forgery of, it will sometimes take her a long time to get it exactly how she wants it, especially with a subject she is unfamiliar with.  

Goals: She also believes there is good intent behind stealing Dorian's painting back from the institute, yet at the same time she is conflicted about it.
