A reindeer was stumbling around the forest with it’s huge antlers and couldn’t see were it was going it ran into a tree the tree shook “What on Gaea are you doing in my tree?” asked The dryad. The reindeer tried to pull it’s self out but it didn’t work…

One day when artemis was out hunting she heard cries from within the forest, Artemis followed it leaving her nymphs and dryads out hunting by themselves “Hello? are you alright?” called artemis her voice echoing through the forest. Artemis waited for a little before she walked farther then she heard the cry again and ran through the forest and stopped. A reindeer’s antlers were stuck in a tree “Oh you poor reindeer” said Artemis petting the reindeer on his forehead . “Your going to be alright” said Artemis walking around the tree and tried to push the reindeer’s antler’s out of the tree but it didn’t work. Artemis almost thought of cutting the tree down but she didn’t want to anger the dryad who’s home it was. Artemis tried to pull the reindeer out from behind..it didn’t work. Artemis took out one of her arrows and started to saw the reindeer’s antlers off it didn’t hurt the reindeer for her arrows were painless! The reindeer’s antlers came off and fell to the ground with a thud The reindeer got out of the tree and rain around Happily and came up to artemis and nuzzled her “Your welcome” said Artemis hugging the reindeer as it ran away artemis said “From now on your antlers will fall off once a year ,every year!” said Artemis. And that’s why Reindeer’s antlers fall off every year
